The theme for this year’s Festival is
"That's clever!".
If you have made a short film and have a story to share, then submit your work to the Young Filmmakers Festival Queensland 2009.

How to enter:
| Step one |
Print and read the entry form. Make sure you and your film match the rules for entry. You can do this with your Parent, Guardian or Supervising Teacher. |
| Step Two |
Fill in the entry form and have it checked and signed by your Parent, Guardian or Supervising Teacher. |
Step Three
|
Burn your film to DVD (PAl format). And post the DVD with the entry form to the address listed on the form. Each film must have its own entry form. Only one entry form per film please. |

Entry Requirements:
• Filmmakers must be under 18* years old on January 1, 2009.
• Filmmakers must be living in Queensland, Australia.
• Films must be less then 8 minutes in length.
• Films must connect to the theme "That's clever!".
More Entry Info:
• Music must be original with written permission to use it from the composer and performer.This means no commercially published music, please.
• Still images must be original or written permission to use them must be submitted with the film.
• Films with other people's footage (i.e. News footage) must be submitted with written permission to use that footage.
• Entry is open to individuals, groups, clubs, and schools.
• Films can be narrative, or documentary, and or animation, or experimental.
• Films must be submitted in a PAL video format. PAL (Phase Alternating Line) is the Video and TV format used in Australia.
Your film does not have to be made especially for YFFQ 2009
*You must be 17 years or younger on January 1st 2009.
